Adele is a Project Assistant at the National Center for Mental Health and Juvenile Justice. She graduated cum laude from the Rochester Institute of Technology with her Bachelor’s in criminal justice with a concentration in Spanish modern language and culture in 2014. Her interests include youth mental health and reentry, having firsthand experience with family suffering from mental health issues and incarceration. Previously, she was enlisted in the New York Army National Guard where she trained to become a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Specialist. As a Project Assistant, she works on the National Institute of Justice School Safety Study helping coordinate meetings, developing project-related materials, conducting literature reviews, supporting schools that are developing a School Responder Model, and assisting with various other project tasks.
