Description: The MHTC-JJ is an 8-hour training that provides critical information on adolescent development and mental health disorders commonly seen among youth in contact with the juvenile justice system, effective treatments for justice-involved youth, and the important role of family. In addition, the MHTC-JJ provides participants with practical strategies for interacting and communicating with youth in their care who have mental health needs.
