The GAINS Center has published two useful monographs related to this topic titled Adolescent Girls with Co-occurring Disorders in the Juvenile Justice System (Prescott, 1997) and Improving Outcomes for Adolescent Girls with Co-occurring Disorders in the Justice System (Prescott, 1998). These monographs may be obtained by calling 800-311-4246 or by sending an e-mail to gains@prainc.com.

When reading these two papers you will probably discover new information about young female offenders.
